Welcome to arils and castles,

My introverted nature would prefer anonymity and my adventurous side would amuse myself immensely by assuming a pseudo-mysterious, online ghostwriter persona.  However, since this space is about living authentically in Christ, let me introduce myself.

My name is Nicole and I want to warmly welcome you to arils and castles.

If there was such a thing as a Presbyterian contemplative female version of a monk ... that would probably be the ideal fit for me in this world!

Life is shared together with Kenneth, my husband.  He is an incredibly humble, yet gifted worship leader, professor, artist, writer, and musician - and yes, I realize I am completely biased.

For over ten years now we have spent almost every weekend side by side leading in worship and music ministry at our local church.

By day, I work in the non-profit world.  I oversee a team that provides employment support, as well as works in partnership to advance career-specific college opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities.  We believe everyone has the right to belong to their community in which their gifts are valued and respected, which includes access to education that leads to gainful employment.

My greatest passion though is learning to live fully in Christ.  I want to be intentionally awake to His Presence in the chaos of life.

Now that you know a little about me, I would love to hear from you and get to know you better.  I invite you to join me on this Camino.

It is my prayer that arils and castles will be a place to encourage one another to cultivate the seeds that nourish our own interior castle in order to live everyday overflowing with the fullness of Christ!

I invite you to grab a cup of tea, stay a while and make this castle your home.
